Remodelling of listed building
This 17th Century grand home of the Boutflower family has always been occupied and well maintained.
Options to upgrade family living accommodation and install a biomass heating system were developed in consultation with the Local Authority’s Conservation Officer.
A key intervention into the historic building, was careful adaption of the complex listed roof structure and insertion of new accommodation within the roof space. Now complete, these comprehensive alterations are virtually invisible when viewed from outside the listed building.
