Two new build houses in the Green-belt.
Planning Consent was granted in July 2014 for two new houses to replace an existing steel agricultural structure. The basis of the proposal is that new buildings are to be discretely concealed within the open landscape of the Green Belt. Where visible, the houses are to appear as long agricultural barns, typical of rural Northumberland.
Simple timer framed construction is economical and efficient – as well as being highly sustainable. New buildings will be constructed to exceed current building regulation requirements, and will meet Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3.
